Stills by Hill Photography Presents “Simply Me”: A Personality Portrait Art Gallery Celebrating Local Kids Stills by Hill Photography is proud to announce the successful debut of *Simply Me: A Personality Portrait Art Gallery*, held on September 27, 2025, in La Mesa. This one-of-a-kind event celebrated the individuality, spirit, and personality of local children through striking black-and-white portraits displayed in a professional gallery setting.

The exhibition featured a curated collection of portraits photographed by Hillary Gustaveson, owner and lead photographer of Stills by Hill Photography. Known for her ability to capture genuine emotion and connection, Gustaveson created timeless images showcasing the unique character of each child. Families and community members gathered to celebrate the young personalities featured, making the evening both heartwarming and memorable.

*The Simply Me project is about more than photographs—it’s about honoring children exactly as they are right now,” said Gustaveson.

“Seeing the kids’ faces light up when they spotted themselves on the gallery wall was the best part of the evening. These are portraits that will be treasured for generations.”

Guests were able to enjoy the gallery experience, connect with other local families, and view the artwork as fine-art prints ready to be cherished in their homes. The event emphasized Stills by Hill Photography’s mission: to create heirloom artwork that tells the story of family and legacy.

Due to the overwhelming response, Stills by Hill Photography is excited to announce that the *Simply Me Personality Portraits* project will return in Spring 2026. Families are encouraged to keep an eye out for details early next year, as spaces will be limited.
